Grab a picnic basket, beach towels and prepare for a fun filled day at Whitewater Lake Beach! BBQ, hiking trails, jungle gym equipment and of course sand are all here waiting for a full day of fun! Full of year-round activities, Whitewater Lake makes for a great location to relax on the water or take part in the activities that surround it.

Whitewater Lake offers boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Because of its location in the Kettle Moraine Forest, Whitewater Lake is also known for biking, hiking, and camping. In the winter months, cross-country skiing is a popular activity, while the lake is scattered with ice shanties, especially when the Lions Annual February Fish-A-Ree takes place with lunch, prizes, and raffles.

Bordering Whitewater Lake’s ten-mile shoreline is the Kettle Moraine State Forest, where the Whitewater Lake Beach is located. The area offers hiking trails, a playground and barbeque area, and the Scenic Ridge Campground. It hosts summer performances from the Minnieska Ski Team as well as the Natureland Park that has a picnic area, hiking trails, and pavilion.

The Whitewater Lake Beach is located in a state park fee area inside the Kettle Moraine State Forest, so come early to get more bang for your buck!

Whitewater Lake provides a beautiful lake setting and is within commuting distance to the cities of Milwaukee, Madison, Wisconsin, and Chicago.
