Get ready for the ultimate culinary throwdown! The 12th Annual Geneva Lake Burger Throwdown is less than a month away, and it promises to be a thrilling event for foodies and families alike. Hosted by Badger High School, this fundraising event pits over 10 talented chefs against each other, all vying for your vote in the battle of the burgers. And best of all, all proceeds benefit the Badger High School ProStart Culinary Program.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 7th, when the event kicks off with VIP entry at 11:30am and General Admission at 12:30pm. This year's event will be held at The Ridge Hotel in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and will be jam-packed with excitement and entertainment. The Big Al Wetzel band will be performing, making this a perfect opportunity for some fun family bonding.
With a lineup of local culinary champions, you won't want to miss out on this year's competition. The 2023 lineup includes big names such as Pier 290, Speedo's Harborside on Geneva Lake, Smokey's BBQ House at the Timber Ridge, The Grand Cafe at The Grand Geneva, Clock Tower Pizza, Lake Lawn, Simple Cafe, Gordy's Boat House, Turf Smokehouse, and Hunt Club Steakhouse.

Last year's competition was intense, with Pier 290 taking home the People's Choice/Bogan Cup for their Texas Smokehouse Bacon Burger. The first place Judges Choice went to Clock Tower Pizza for their Picnic Double Smash, while the second place Judges Choice was awarded to Hunt Club for their Hickory Highlight. Gordy's rounded out the top three with their Nacho Average Burger.
